This training program equips educators with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to effectively teach literacy and numeracy in the early grades (K–3). It covers foundational concepts, learner development, evidence-based instructional practices, assessment, technology integration, and professional collaboration through coaching, mentoring, Learning Action Cells (LAC), and Work Application Plans (WAP). The program aims to strengthen teachers' instructional competence and improve learners' literacy and numeracy outcomes in alignment with the goals of quality basic education in the Philippines.
